Mrs Niki Barnes - PresidentWelcome,

It is with great enthusiasm and pride that I welcome you to our website. We recently celebrated 30 years of advocacy here in the city of Memphis. On behalf of the entire Memphis Chapter, I would love to share with you our accomplishments and provide you the opportunity to link with us. Over the course of the last 30 years we have partnered with countless organizations throughout Shelby County, the State of Tennessee and nationally to advocate on behalf of issues that affect the African-American family. We as black women are commonly finding ourselves the cornerstones of today’s family; therefore, all issues are our issues. Every issue that affects America affects the black woman. Whether AIDS/HIV, Domestic Violence, Infant Mortality, Voters’ Rights, financial literacy or our “Dolls for Dolls” Program we have chosen to lead the way in advocacy for change and improvement. Our organization has strived over the last 30 years, unapologetically, to seek out, tackle and solve those issues that greatly affect women of color and our entire community. We are so very thankful that you have chosen to be apart of this movement with us.

Gratefully yours,

Niki Barnes
